A new article has been published on the EPALE platform, summarizing the meeting in Lublin within the framework of the HerBoundaries project, implemented by Inna Fundacja (Poland) and Tre Ghinee (Italy). This is an important example of how bilateral cooperation can bring practical conclusions and inspiration for further activities in adult education.
Although gender equality is today recognized as a fundamental value, in reality women and girls still face numerous barriers — from wage inequality, through difficulties in career advancement, to microaggressions and discrimination. That is why the HerBoundaries project focuses on education as a tool for real change.
In the article (available only in Polish) you will find, among others:
- reflections on the WenDo method (combining self-defense and assertiveness),
- educational materials for trainers working with adults,
- conclusions from working with people exposed to multiple discrimination — refugees, migrants, LGBTQ+ persons,
- and experiences gained from Polish-Italian cooperation within the project.
