Another partner meeting of the Polish-Italian project HerBoundaries took place in Lublin. It was an opportunity to summarize the activities carried out so far and to plan the final stage of cooperation.
During the meeting, partners worked on preparing lesson scenarios for educators, developing a handbook on preventing gender-based violence, and creating e-learning materials dedicated to the WenDo method — assertiveness and self-defense for women and girls. An important area of discussion also included actions aimed at counteracting microaggressions and discrimination against women, including refugees and members of sexual minorities.
The meeting made it possible to draw conclusions from the cooperation so far and to discuss in detail the upcoming final conference, which will summarize the project.
As part of the cultural program, representatives of the partner organization Tre Ghinee from Rome had the opportunity to visit Lublin’s Old Town and the Majdanek Museum.
The project is financed by the Erasmus+ program and constitutes a valuable experience in the field of adult education. Cooperation between partners from Poland and Italy is an example of meaningful knowledge and practice exchange that strengthens actions for equality and the prevention of violence.
