We’ve just held the Reclaim the Night March. During the event, Kasia Zabratańska, president of the Inna Foundation, said:   “We are here so that we never have to be afraid again, so that we feel safe, and so that we can move around the streets of the city at any time of day or night, regardless of our age, skin color, level of ability, economic status, or any other characteristic.” Why is this so important? According to research: 1 in 3 women in Europe avoids walking after dark out of fear for their safety. Over 80% of women in Poland have been harassed at least once. 43% of women feel uncomfortable in public transport due to harassment or unwanted comments. Feeling safe in public spaces is crucial for equality and well-being.
